Today, I went with the choir to a studio to record the yellow ribbon song in support of the concert 2008 and the Yellow Ribbon Project. Was pretty fun, for me and the children!

We met up with Christchurch Sec pupils and had a little warm up before the recording.

I still remember how Mrs Sasarak said" You all must sing 'TIGHHHH-YER ribbon round the old oak tree...'

Oh, and I might still have a few extra tics for this Sat's concert... *winks

Finally, after all the hard work and anticipation, its official that we are a SILVER CHOIR!

Before everything else, I would like to thanks all the choir members, all the TICs and our dear Mrs Sasarak.

I thought we all sang beautifully. Mr Piere was glad, so was I. If you had to ask me, I'd rather prefer to listen to our choir anytime, vs a gold choir. Why? Really because of all the things we went through. I don't know if you find my recess singing sessions crappy or lame, but Mr Gan just want to try to help. Remember all the training, all the Saturday spent, all the fun, laughter and joy. I couldn't help but get awfully emotional when you all sang. Never knew I was that type.

Anyways, thank god we pulled through.

Another thing, I don't know about the MacDonalds treat, but I'll see what I can do. Was planning like a choir get-together with Mrs Sasavak and all the TICs. I'm thinking after exams where we'll get a little party of sorts, like order dozens of pizza and have a feast or something, since you all will be able to EAT LIAO! Don't worry, if the sch doesn't pay, I will! Will have to ask Ms Lim if ok and then firm up the details. But still, nothing's confirmed.

I set up this blog for the pure pleasure of penning down my thoughts, random ideas and rants. It did not occur to me that one day, more people will come check this blog. It's all fine and dandy, life goes on if I were any Tom, Dick or Harry. Reality turns out not. It dawned on me that I am a teacher and any personal comments I made could indeed turn out to be quite harmful to myself and my career. Yes, I intend to keep my job for the time being at least.

So, the thing is this: Anything posted here does not represent the view of MOE. Being a great and responsible teacher at heart, I will review and moderate comments, my tagbox will be SCRUTINISED. To the immature juvenile that spammed me awhile ago, take note.

Late, but then....

Today, 4 great players from the Ruan Ensemble I belong to went to PRPS. Played some pieces, basically, trying to share our passion and interest in making music. Them guys were having music CO camp i think. Nways, totally grateful and happy for a job well done. Nevermind the minor screwups, Ester. Doesn't matter. One step closer to a world concert tour...ok you know im soo joking.;)

Wasn't able to see you P6 people. Nvm, let you all miss me a little longer...lol! But nways, hope EL P1 aka compo's a breeze for you all PRPS-P6ers.

First time in my life stepped into Bel's class. Ah bel ah, why did you give me the im-so-sian look? I know not what to comment about this first impression. You DO look like you will be killed or maimed by boredom any minute. But on the bright side, you turn into super mario on Wednesdays for Choir, Marissa et al.

Went to Vivo late after school. Shopped about, decided nothing worth my fancy. Bought a $1 toy(the kind that rolled out in a round plastic shell with a funky toy within), made myself and friend quite amused for 5minutes. Rather late now by the way.

Oh, turned out I discovered a good way of keeping awake while driving. Blow the air con at your face. Thank god for that, Mr Gan lives to come back to you all tmr wednesday!

It's TGIF finally. Cant believe how fast this crap week flew by. Have been seriously missing PRPS. Was in and out of school, either for course or some other stuff. 6F and 5B, haven't seen you all for ages, miss you all ok?


4A and 4B, really hope you all don't blame me for making you rehearse for the 1 minute of fame thingy k.

Let's see what happened this week:

Dont event know how marissa tan got my hp number. Considering whether to block her or not. (Thanks marissa tan, you even gave it to Hannah) Am very angry.

Choir drew a stupid face on the board and claimed thats me. How mistaken, and how sic...

Saw and listened to Hong Hui's head prefect speech. (huh...lidat also can?) Every time I see her, either give me heart attack or make me laugh. Duno what to say.

Very emo cos I think my music lesson is seriously going down south. And I am turning into a singlish pumpkin. Terrible.

And I owe music class the recorder scores, which I'm finally going to do now...
